Your use of this website is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by American-Solar.com.

We reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. Any changes or modifications to the terms, policies, or guidelines will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms to ensure you are aware of any updates.

Product Data, Availability, and Pricing

At American-Solar.com, we strive to ensure that the data related to our products, pricing, and availability is accurate. However, errors such as system glitches or typographical mistakes may occur. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies, and we do not honor pricing or availability errors that are posted incorrectly on the website.

Price Match Guarantee Limitations

Our Price Match Guarantee applies only to eligible products currently listed for sale on American-Solar.com. Price matching is not available for products not listed on our website. We reserve the right to decline a price-match request if the product, model, or brand does not match our current catalog, or if the competitor’s offer does not meet our verification criteria. All price-match decisions are final and at our sole discretion.

Payments

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express through Stripe, ensuring that all transactions are secure. We also accept checks (personal and company), cashier’s checks, and money orders (please allow 7-10 business days for checks to clear). For direct deposit and bank wire transfers, please contact us for further details.

For bulk orders, please submit an offer through our website, and our sales team will get in touch with you.

Shipping Policies

At American-Solar.com, we aim to offer the best possible shipping prices.

For freight orders: After your order has been processed and shipped, our Customer Service Representative will contact you with tracking information and an estimated delivery schedule. If you wish to receive an estimate before placing an order, feel free to contact us or request a quote.

Shipping costs for orders over 150 lbs and certain products under 150 lbs (such as solar panels, inverters, and batteries) may require LTL freight shipping. Additionally, shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or other locations outside the continental U.S. may incur additional charges. If this happens, we will contact you with a revised freight quote, and you will have the option to accept or cancel the order.

Our order processing time typically ranges from 24 to 72 business hours, Monday through Friday. However, some items may be out of stock and will need to be shipped directly from our vendor, which could take 2-4 weeks.

We ship to most locations within the United States. However, certain areas may not be serviceable, in which case we will contact you to arrange an alternate delivery method or cancel your order. We do not currently ship to P.O. Boxes, though we can ship to APO, FPO, and military addresses in most cases. If your shipping address is unavailable, we will assist you in arranging an alternative delivery option.

We may choose to use other carriers (e.g., UPS, USPS) for small parcel items. In such cases, your shipping priority will remain the same.

Once your order is processed and shipped, cancellations are no longer free of charge, and you will be responsible for all shipping costs as well as a 20% restocking fee.

Free Shipping applies only to standard ground delivery within the continental U.S. (48 states). Expedited shipping options are available upon request.

Receiving Shipments

For most ground and freight shipments, a signature from you or an authorized representative will be required upon delivery. Please inspect your shipment thoroughly before signing the receipt of delivery. Any damage to the packaging or items should be noted on the delivery receipt, and photos should be taken. If the driver is unable or unwilling to wait while you inspect the items, mark the delivery receipt with “concealed damage possible.”

Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving damaged goods to initiate a claim with the distributor and shipping provider. Ensure that you account for all items in your order, and contact us if there are discrepancies.

If you refuse the shipment, you will be responsible for restocking fees (20%) and the return shipping costs.

Force Majeure

American-Solar.com will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government regulations.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been processed or authorized, and your credit card has not been charged, there is no cancellation fee. However, if the order has been processed or your payment has been authorized, a 5% cancellation fee will apply.

If your order has already shipped, our standard restocking fee will apply upon return.

Right to Cancel Orders

American-Solar.com reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, cases involving pricing errors, product unavailability, suspected fraud, compliance concerns, or shipping constraints. If an order is canceled by us, you will be notified promptly and any payments already collected will be refunded in full.

Returns Policy

By using our website and making purchases from us, you consent to our return policy. Returns require prior authorization and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. The product must be in new condition, in the original packaging, and include all hardware and documentation. Items that have been used or installed cannot be returned. Returns must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured via the carrier of your choice within 30 days of delivery.

A 20% restocking fee applies to most returns, except in cases where the return is due to manufacturer errors (damages, overages, or shortages). We also reserve the right to apply a restocking fee if the return reason is not in accordance with our policy.

Some items are Non-Cancellable and Non-Returnable (NCNR). If you are purchasing an NCNR item, you will be notified by a sales representative prior to your order being processed.

Damages and Claims

If you receive damaged products or items that don’t match your order, we recommend inspecting the shipment immediately. Any damage or discrepancies should be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 24 hours.

If you have received damaged goods, please file a claim online through our RMA form within 24 hours, including necessary photos, serial numbers, and relevant documentation. If the shipment was made via freight, please file a claim directly with the carrier.

Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating arbitration, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through informal mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration.

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. We only collect the information necessary to process orders, quotes, and other services. This information is not shared with third parties unless required for processing your order.
