SMA Sunny Highpower PEAK3 150-US 150KW 600V three-phase string inverter

Purpose-built for utility-scale and large C&I arrays, the PEAK3 150-US delivers 150 kW of AC power at 600 VAC while operating on a 1 500 V DC architecture. Eliminating the step-down transformer cuts BOS costs and boosts CEC efficiency to 99 %.

A compact 99 kg (218 lb) NEMA 4X enclosure ships with a detachable rack-mount plate, enabling single-person handling and plug-and-play terminations. Forced-air OptiCool® keeps components within spec up to 60 °C, ensuring reliable output even in desert climates.

Designers can oversize the DC field to 300 kWp—a 2:1 DC-to-AC ratio—reclaiming string losses and maximising annual energy yield with fewer inverters. A single MPPT (855–1 500 V) simplifies string layouts and minimises mismatch risk.

SMA Smart Connected monitoring (no-cost during warranty) auto-detects events, issues notifications, and dispatches advance-replacement hardware, reducing truck rolls and downtime. Native ennexOS integration provides advanced grid-support functions—Volt-VAR, Volt-Watt, frequency-watt, and ride-through—meeting IEEE 1547-2018 / UL 1741SB requirements out of the box.
